- CB-Radio MIDLAND 13-898B -
Used this radio from about 1982-1987. This is my first SSB Tranceiver, got it brand new but on SALE from 'Nyberg Radio&TV' in Overtornea (Community close to my home),- made a simple mode and swapped two of the master crystals in the crystal matrix to get it to work on the swedish 'SSB-Channel' 24 (27.245MHz) that was used in early 1980's. Made a lot of QRM on this band;-) back in those day's - Later replaced the four master crystals in order to go on 'high-band' arround 27.555MHz,- still got the radio in my collection. Simple and straight forward! And works 100% !!!

My next radio on 'FreeBand' was a 'Ham International MultiMode II' - I don't have any pictures of the radio,- got one picture from the 'shack' Dated 1988.
